What is a Client?

Anyone created in CLASS as receiving a service is considered a Client, this can be an individual or a group. The person remains a client until a decision is made that the person is no longer a Client.A Client is also know as a Service User: This is an individual, group or organisation that receives a service from a Service Provider this is based on the definition form the National Legal Data Standards Manual.

Ways to Create a Client

  1. Conflict Check
  2. Intake Procedure
  3. Triage - For New Clients only

These 3 options depend on how a centre chooses to manage the workflow of creating a client, therefore it is important to be aware of each centre's processes.
